Power Outage History App
While this is not an app I wished to make, it ended up being a necessity with Malta's frequent electricity outages and its unstable voltage. The requirement was simple, I wanted to know if the light went out if I'm gone for an extended period of time. I let this serve as an excuse to leverage Google Firebase for real time updates and its seamless integration with developing an Electron app on a Phone APK.
Did the power go out?
When the reporter loses power, the Phone App shows you that the final check in was a while back
Comprehensive History
Once the network connected device comes back online, it records the last entry as the power outage time, and reports when the power came back
